This half term we will be focussing on Tudor Exploration and finding out about all the different places Sir Frances Drake visited on his voyages around the world.  In Literacy we will be reviewing the story of ‘Pig Heart Boy’ by Malorie Blackman, as we delve into the issues of bullying and animal rights.  Our Big Writing will incorporate elements of journalistic reviews, as well as diary and recount writing. Numeracy will focus on application of number facts and calculating in real-life situations including money, time, weighing and measuring.  Our school themes will include road safety, as the dark nights are drawing in and Anti-Bullying week as we learn to care for and respect one another.
